Part of the work includes engaging in discussions around food systems, food apartheid, food access and security, neurodiversity, and cross-neurotype communication.
This group meets on Wednesday evenings
from 4:45 - 6:00.
Session 1 will run from
October 5th–November 16th.
WEST END COMMUNITY
Through partnerships with the West End Community Foundation and Kingdom Building Mentality, LLC., we have established the weekly Free Market for the West End and Lyon Park communities in connection with our store, Part & Parcel. Organic and local products are prioritized. Produce is both purchased from and donated by Farmer Foodshare and the Reality Farm, which provides horticultural play and friendship opportunities for individuals with ID/DD. Local businesses, such Ninth Street Bakery and Fillaree contribute products as well. Through this market, we are able to get to know families, connect them with services, and further extend our inclusive employment model into the community.
